About the event

Meet in the Storrington Rise car park at 9.30am. David Campbell, Nick Bond and Ingrid Allan will guide the small group around the beautiful Cissbury Ring in search of migratory birds. Early October is an exciting time, with big numbers of birds migrating south and Cissbury is a well-known migration hotspot. There should be a variety of finches, thrushes and warblers on offer. We might even find some Ring Ouzels!  There may still be some butterflies to spot, too, and we're always looking out for any other wildlife... This walk is ideal for anybody wanting to experience migrating birds, from absolute beginners to seasoned birders.
