Spring Birding in the Arun Valley
Time & Location
About the event
Meet at the gate on Brook Lane 50yds east the junction of Brookland Way at TQ023161 at 9am. David and Nick will guide you through the fresh wave of birdsong at this flagship site in the Arun Valley. Newly arrived migrants should include Common Nightingale, Sedge Warbler, Eurasian Reed Warbler and Common Cuckoo, while resident birds such as Common Reed Bunting will be making themselves known too. There's also a chance to see species like Eurasian Bullfinch and - who knows? - maybe a Garganey will drop in...
Please allow time to park carefully and respectfully on unrestricted roads in the village, then walk to the meeting point.
