In 2019, we were treated to a Squacco Heron by the North Wall at Pagham Harbour.
And now history has repeated itself with another beautiful example of this species hanging out in the exact same spot, doing the exact same thing!
It's tempting to suggest it could be the same bird, but with two blank years between sightings, it's more likely a case 'lost souls think alike', being drawn to a nice bit of habitat (that also happens to be very regularly checked by birders).
